Thibault heads strategy and the foundation at Bifrost, a dedicated liquid staking appchain on Polkadot. Since 2021, he has been leading their business initiatives, engaging and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across the blockchain ecosystem, from protocols to crypto-native institutions. In his capacity, he has built a strong network of Asia based VCs and LPs specifically in Mainland China. For the past two years, he has worked closely with Polkadot Marketing in their initiatives in building an Asia presence around crypto-focused  events such as Singapore’s Token2049. As a result, has participated in several Polkadot related events: Polkadot Decoded in Mainland China, Panellist at Token2049 and KBW side events; and Judge of the Polkadot APAC AngelHack. He has also co-founded Polkaport East a HK – GBA based growth and IR initiative for Polkadot Prior to joining Bifrost and the Polkadot Ecosystem, Thibault led business development initiatives for a Swiss based currency hedge fund ($30B AuM) servicing institutional investors across Europe and Asia from public and private pension funds,  corporate treasuries, and SWFs.
