Julius Krein is the founder and editor of American Affairs, a quarterly policy journal. Prior to founding American Affairs, Julius was an investment analyst at several leading alternative investment managers.  His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, and other publications.  He is also a director of Arbol Inc., a parametric insurance company that incorporates blockchain technology and smart contracts.
