Doris Wang has her Ph.D.  in Accounting at University of Kentucky , and her certificates of the CPA in USA and the CIA, CRMA, CGAP of the IIA Global.

Dr. Wang has served as the Chairperson of the Taiwan Accounting Research and Development Foundation (ARDF)since 2014. The ARDF is the  member of several international organizations, such as IFRS ( IASB and ISSB), SASB, XBRL, IVSC.  Besides,  Dr. Wang is also a professor of accounting at National Taipei University.

Doris Wang has been the lIA member for 27 years since 1997. The Global lIA honored Doris Wang with the Victor Z. Brink Award for Distinguished Service on July 18, 2022.  She was elected as the Chairperson of the Institute of Internal Auditors-Chinese Taiwan from 2012 to 2016 , the Vice Chairperson of IIA-Chinese Taiwan (2008 to 2012), and had been a member of the Boardof directors (2002 – 2020) more than 15 years. Especially, Doris Wang was a pioneer to introduce the lIA Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) in Taiwan and was the first one to earn CRMA certification in Taiwan.  

In addition, Doris is a leader for the traditional Chinese translation projects – The Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) books: “Achieving Effective Internal Control ofSustainability Reporting (ICSR)” 2023  and “ COSO Internal Control-Integrated Framework (ICIF) “2013.
