Based in Singapore, Mark Attard is the Head of Digital Assets and Client Engagement for the Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS). Mark is responsible for leading Citi’s digital assets initiatives for TTS focused on innovating and revolutionizing the financial landscape through developing distributed ledger technology-based solutions, value
movement by leveraging Citi Token Services and the use of smart contracts to conduct programmable payments, atomic settlements for FX Payment versus Payment transactions.

Prior to joining Citi, Mark was the Head of the Non-Banking Financial Institutions for Onyx by J.P. Morgan where he had global responsibility for clients across the insurance, broker dealers, asset managers and fintech’s covering product solutions across JPM Coin Systems, digital assets and blockchain. Mark was instrumental in establishing Partior, an independent company, which is the first blockchain based multi-
currency and multi-bank offering.

Mark has 20 plus years’ experience across Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Banking having held numerous roles covering front office, risk management, product management and programme management in Australia, United Kingdom, and Singapore.

Mark holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & investment from the Kaplan Business School as well as a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance from Victoria University.
