Matthew is the co-founder of Origin Protocol. Origin’s mission is to increase economic opportunity for all through its DeFi product suite. Matthew is an active investor, having invested in over 50 early-stage companies, including EigenLayer, Zksync, and Berachain. He was also an early advisor to Solana, XMTP, Biconomy, and other crypto projects. Matthew is a serial entrepreneur and has founded several companies previously. He served as co-founder of PriceSlash (acquired by BillShark) and as co-founder and CEO of Unicycle Labs. Earlier in his career, Matthew was an early employee and one of the earliest Product Managers at YouTube (acquired by Google), leading multiple products on the consumer, partnership, and monetization teams. Later, he was VP of Product at Qwiki (acquired by Yahoo) and VP of Product at Bonobos (acquired by Walmart). He has a MS and BS from Stanford University.
