Lee Rainie is the Director of Internet and\r\nTechnology research at the Pew Research Center, a non-profit, non\u2013partisan\r\n\u201cfact tank\u201d that studies the social impact of the internet. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
His Project was described by the\r\nAmerican Sociological Association as the \u201cmost authoritative source of reliable\r\ndata on the use and impact of the internet and mobile connectivity\u201d and the ASA\r\nawarded him and the Internet Project its award for \u201cexcellence in the reporting\r\non social issues award.\u201d <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The Project has issued more than 750\r\nreports based on its surveys that examine people\u2019s online activities and the\r\ninternet\u2019s role in their lives.
